Client: Conseil régional de concertation et de développement du Bas-Saint-Laurent (Rimouski, QC)
Designer: See Remarks
Years in use: 1992-2004
Remarks: The CRCD identity was not applied in a particularly uniform manner, and deviations from the colourings displayed above were not uncommon. Many official documents contained retraced copies of the design mark, which do not match the geometry of the most prevalent (and presumed correct) example reproduced here. Early examples appear in gold, Pantone 873 CVC. Later variants either include a gradient or adopt colours from the 2001 Bas-Saint-Laurent place brand. Designer unknown, creative direction on contemporaneous CRCD projects in the late ‘90s suggests Clermont Malenfant of Maximage Design (Québec company code: 1144937266), based in Rimouski at the time (125 rue de l’Evêché O, Bureau 203). Preceded by the Conseil régional de développement du Bas-Saint-Laurent and followed by the Conférence régionale des ÉluEs du Bas-Saint-Laurent.
